Overview
8520 is the matte counterpart to the gloss 8518 and uses the same UV-absorbing topcoat chemistry within the 3M MCS Warranty System. The matte finish reduces surface reflection on large vehicle and architectural graphics viewed under direct or mixed-direction lighting — preferred in wayfinding, interior, and architectural graphic applications where gloss would create distracting hot spots. MCS Warranted in combination with 3M IJ180Cv3.
