Overview
MPI 1005 is Avery Dennison's primary cast wrap film for color-change and full-body vehicle wrapping. The EZ RS adhesive system uses micro-structured channels that allow air to escape during application so bubbles can be worked out without piercing. Panels can be applied, partially squeegeed, lifted and repositioned, then final-squeegeed once aligned — post-heat activation with a heat gun locks the wrap for the long-term adhesion bond. MPI 1005 is a true cast film and conforms over door handles, rivets, and recesses without memory curl. Compatible with solvent, eco-solvent, and UV inkjet printers for print-on-wrap fleet graphic applications. Pair with Avery DOL 6460 for a protective clear coat over printed wraps.
